Jackie is sensational. I cannot say enough about how talented Jackie is. She understands how to capture the natural look with an elevated flare. She understood my vision and made...

it happen! I had an outdoor wedding in upstate NY that had a rustic bohemian look plus blending my Vietnamese heritage. Jackie listened to everything I wanted and consulted with me to ensure achievable results. My hair and makeup was flawless and lasted so well through the night with sun, rain, humidity, outfit changes and hair accessory changes. She is realistic, knowledgeable and easy to work with. Jackie is communicative and does not leave anything to chance. She is so experienced when it comes to how to prepare, how to set yourself up for success and what will work best given the location, environmental factors, etc. Jackie was also a comfort to have leading up to the big day as well as during. Planning a wedding and making sure it all goes according plan is stressful to say the least. Jackie helped be a voice of reason, an expert guide and a confident, calm presence through it all. I get stressed when there's too much attention on me (hello bride's day!), and Jackie made the entire experience fun while lowering the stress level. I was in love with the naturally sculpted low bun Jackie gave me, and the makeup was perfection! Jackie also came with a stellar assistant to do makeup for my bridal party. She had a touch up kit for me, which came in handy for when it started pouring on our special day! I enjoyed creating the vision with Jackie through the trial and discussions leading up to the big day. I highly recommend Jackie to any bride. She is versatile. I hired her for my maternity shoot a couple years later! I was so comfortable with Jackie, so she was my first choice in doing the nude shoot. My favorite memory was when she brought an electric leaf blower to get the natural wind swept look in my beachy waves (a little trick from her experience with professional shoots). Work with Jackie- she will make you shine in all the amazing ways that you already do.

Jackie came recommended by a friend who does wedding photography. From the start, Jackie was warm and energetic. She really helped make me feel like the best version of myself for...

my wedding. We did a trial hair and make-up prior to the event which gave me one less thing to think about. She is charming and graceful, making the experience so fun and relaxing on an otherwise hectic day! In addition, she brought on an additional stylist since I wanted my mom, sister-in-law and 5 year old niece to have hair done too. Her colleague was just as wonderful - which says a lot about Jackie! Jackie is an artist who also knows how to support her client's wishes. I felt very cared about as a client and recommend her to anyone and everyone!

e hanging out with an old friend! She is so incredible at making her clients feel comfortable, listened to, and pampered. She went completely above and beyond- when the bridal party was finishing photos outside and it started pouring, she got SOAKED while shielding my bridesmaids and making sure everyone was able to get safely from the park to the vehicles to inside the venue. She literally used herself as a shield and then proceeded to to help everyone get touch ups while they dried off- by the time the ceremony had started, no one would have had an idea that everyone had been rained on. By the end of the day, she was everyone’s best friend. She was an angel that day and I am so thankful she was my artist. If you’re looking for an incredibly talented artist who will charm you with her positive attitude and incredible sense of humor- Jackie is your gal.

ay without any problems. I also loved that I had one person to do both and she is fantastic at both which is very rare. She listened to what I wanted and executed perfectly. She also has a great attitude and vibe, she was the only one with me before from the morning till the ceremony and she was so comforting and supportive when I was getting nervous, so grateful I had her by my side. She's always prepared and always on time, could not recommend her more!!

too dramatic. My makeup was the perfect balance of smokey yet natural. Leading up to the wedding I knew that I wanted a low bun, but I wasn’t exactly sure what style. I had some trouble finding inspiration images especially with Pinterest sometimes being unrealistic. However I knew Jackie would know exactly how to style my updo! My hair was exactly like my inspiration image- except somehow even better! The hair was extremely secure and lasted all night long. She is really a master at her craft. As if all that wasn’t enough, Jackie is extremely friendly and easy to talk to, making you feel totally relaxed, totally forgetting about the wedding nerves. Do not hesitate! Book Jackie for your wedding!

Jackie and her team were truly wonderful to work with. My first experience with Jackie was for my trial. The space was adorable and well lit, and we had our initial consultation wh...

ere I told her what I was interested in, showed her my dress and the venue, and explained the vibe I was going for. Jackie then did my hair and makeup, and I wore the look home. I was interested in how both would fare as I went about my day. At the end of the day, I had a few concerns which I communicated for Jackie and she responded quickly with ways to address them on the big day. Prior to my wedding day, we worked through the timeline to understand when my bridesmaids needed to arrive for hair and makeup so that everyone would know what to expect. Jackie showed up on time and set up stations in the room so that her team could get to work as soon as they arrived. She started on my hair and makeup and ensured that I was comfortable and able to take breaks for food as she worked. The end result was STUNNING! Even prettier than my trial. The bridesmaids and moms all looked great – her team did a fantastic job! I also asked Jackie to touch up the groom to ensure he looked presentable in photos and he was well groomed and looked perfect. The best part was that our wedding was outside on quite possibly the hottest day of the year and my makeup should have melted off, but I looked just as fresh by the end of the evening as I did earlier in the day with little to no touchups! I was amazed. This woman knows what she’s doing! Jackie has a great personality and will put you at ease. If you’re looking for someone to perform the beauty services for your wedding, I would highly recommend Jackie!

She is super friendly, funny and kind, and she will make you feel like the most beautiful woman in the world, as you should be! She understood my vision and expectations perfectly. When looking into hairstylists and makeup artists for my wedding I felt overwhelmed by the number that were laid out in front of me. Not knowing who could tackle my short hair styl...

e along with the long hair my bridesmaids, I needed someone who has a strong understanding of hair. I had known Jackie from high school and had heard that she had become a hairstylist in New York, so I knew she had made it big, and reached out to see if she could help me out. She responded so quickly. She explained her process, and had more questions about the wedding, the style, everything that would be important to know to make the hair and makeup just right. When she came out to do the test, I explained to her the hairstyle I wanted, what my bridesmaids could do with their hair, and she took the idea and ran with it. I wan't sure exactly how I wanted it, but she somehow knew and made it perfect. Fast forward to wedding day; she arrived right on time, in fact I am pretty sure she was early, but knocked on the door right at arrival time. She jumped in with her assistant and they got right to work. She was fast, but fun and professional, all at the same time. When the time came to dress, she made sure I didn't do anything to mess up my make up or hair. Once it was time to go, she made sure to put all the finishing touches up for Church and we were on our way. After the church wedding Jackie stayed around because the forecast called for rain, and oh boy did it rain. Jackie made sure the hair never faltered, cleaned up any flyaways before the pictures and even made sure the make up was still on point. Jackie was such a pleasure to have for my wedding. She never skipped a beat, even with the humidity and the rain, and I would call her to do my hair all the time if I could.
